Live News: Sightings.

The first solid sightings in 3 weeks, and there's two of them.

Earlier I spoke on the phone with someone who saw the target leaving The Dove in Broadway Market, Hackney. It sounds like he spent at least 2 hours in the pub (although the exact length of time was unable to be confirmed), before leaving with two friends just after eight o'clock.

And now, I've just received a call from an informant placing him in the Brick Lane/Bethnal Green Rd vicinity about 20 minutes ago.

Under the radar

The target has been very much under the radar in the past week, with little or no phone contact reported from our various sources.

One informant indicated that he was in the Hackney Road area on Monday between 1300 and 1800 hours, but locations and activities for the past few days are scant.

This agent can confirm that the target will almost certainly be present at Tom Ramsden's leaving drinks tomorrow from 7pm at the Betsey Trotwood pub Farringdon Rd, EC1.

Be there to observe his activity.

Brighton

Inquiries amongst my sources suggest that Matty was in Brighton for most of this weekend.

No solid intel yet, but I will endeavour to find out more this morning.

Mystery call from target

The target attempted to contact this agent this morning at 00:18.

Target left no message but background 'disco' music could be heard.

Where was he?

Sunday - Worked and met his friend Stephan Charbit

This evening, target plans to go to exhibition in Charing X to meet 2 girls called Ruth and Val.

M: How are you doing mate?
AB: Fine, have you changed your mobile number?
M: Yeah i got a brand new contract mobile last week, what are you doing now?
AB: I'm just heading home, what about yourself?
M: I'm heading into college to pick up some flyers and meet this bloke who is playing at the Weather Club, next weekend. I'm just calling to invite you along.
AB: Thanks. What have you been doing today?
M: I've been in the studio all day.

M: No furniture, i make furniture for a living. I'm getting off the bus now, I'll speak to you later.

Covertly, Agency operatives should shadow Matty to produce a profile of the people he is meeting. This remains a major black hole in the Agency's case file, and is something that needs to be confirmed with a close reckon.

Recent Encounter

I had first-hand contact with the target this week in an Islington pub.

Although reluctant to detail his recent movements, he elaborated on his recent visit to Scotland. His agenda apparently included 1 night in Glasgow (our agent in Glasgow, 'Waterloo', has confirmed this - see previous posts) before he spent 2 days in Kincaid. He woudn't disclose the exact nature of his trip, or who exactly he was meeting.

How important are the Kincaid connections?

I tried to gather more visual evidence, but didn't feel it was safe to do so without compromising the mission.

Call for vigilance

Serious news:

The target was observed yesterday evening on his return to London, engaged in surveillance of 3 of our own field operatives.
This raises questions. There are other signs that the target is aware of our attention - for example, the target recently unexpectedly terminated his mobile number.

Is he aware of the operation?

At this stage, we can't tell, but this news must serve as a reminder for all agents to be extremely vigilant when on field operations.

The Scottish Information

Recently achieved rare telephone contact with the target. Although initially reticent, the target claimed he had travelled to Glasgow this week, where he would be for a number of days. I have as yet been unable to verify this information with my sources on the ground, but it sounds plausible. Further updates to follow.
